Barley Stacks fabulous Gourmet Day
Once again Barley Stacks Wines' major
event Gourmet Day "winter feast", on
Sunday July 1 is not to be missed.
Featuring arts, crafts, fashion parade,
live music by "Lost & Found", great food,
alpaca clothing and a new addition -- wheat
beer -- by Yorke Brewing.
Admission by Ticket obtained by ringing the
cellar door or booking on their website.

YP vineyards, Barley Stacks Wines are

The Fleurieu Peninsula's picturesque
township of Strathalbyn has
established itself as Australia's
leading Antiques destination. Nestled
amongst beautiful scenery and
heritage buildings it is a treasure
trove of antiques and collectables

and home to the annual Strathalbyn
Collectors, Hobbies and Antiques Fair.
Testament to the calibre of the
event, BBC's own "Bargain Hunt"
host Mr Tim Wonnacott , returns
from London to host this year's
Truly a feather in Strathalbyn's
cap and a compliment to the fair's
organising committee, no other
Antique Fair in Australia has ever
managed to secure Mr Wonnacott's
presence as a visitor, let alone twice
The Fair is spread throughout
the township over six venues, all
accessible by foot or by shuttle
buses which operate continuously
throughout the weekend.
Venues will be packed full with local
and interstate antiques collectables
and hobbies. There is sure to be
something to inspire, intrigue and
captivate even the most fastidious
In keeping with tradition, a huge
open air Treasure Market will take
place Sunday on the Strathalbyn
Oval and Tim Wonnacott will no
doubt thrill fair goers with his own
"Antiques Road Show." Enthusiasts
can register to bring along their own
piece for Tim to cast his eye over.
Come and experience all the Fun of
the Fair at Strathalbyn, August 18
and 19 from 10am to 5pm Saturday
and 10 am to 4pm Sunday.
Admission is $10 per day, entry to
all venues. No concessions. Children
free. $15 weekend pass or $5 single
hall entry. Gold coin donation to the
treasure market on Sunday.
