New spin on gambling therapy
A new study conducted at Flinders
University and Statewide Gambling
Therapy Service will investigate the
beneficial effects of psychological

The 12-month research project is
seeking 130 people not currently
receiving any gambling treatment to
Therapist Jane Oakes reports that
previous clinical studies have shown
a combination of psychological
treatments can be highly effective.
“This research is important to help
us understand how psychological
