with his new family.
They were fortunate one of RSPCA’s
new staff members was looking to
adopt a dog and happily, Henry has
settled right in.
Whilst many worry a mature-age dog
would not cope, Henry’s adjustment
thrived at Candice’s home and
gained a new lease on life, even
taking her on the odd run!
Permanently fostering Henry is
another way Candice can assist the
RSPCA, while all veterinary expenses
are taken care of by the RSPCA.

Meet Henry the Saint Bernard – one
of RSPCA’s latest Bequest Pets.
Last January they received a call
from a couple who were shifting
home to a smaller retirement
apartment which was not suitable
for their beloved nine year old Saint
They wondered if RSPCA would
accept Henry into the Bequest Pet
Program when the time came for the
big move as they could not bear the
thought of euthanasing this healthy,
happy and robust pet.
By July it was time, and so a RSPCA
went to visit Henry, a giant sook
very excited at meeting them and
obviously in good health!
The following week they arranged
for Henry to have a full dental,
microchip and hydrobath at the Hills

One of our greatest ongoing
household costs is electricity prices.
It seems as soon as we get over one
price rise, there’s another looming
around the corner.
Cutting down energy costs by
utilising more energy saving
products and practices are a great
way to reduce energy costs, but
doing so can also put pressure on
our bank balances as many of these
initiatives can be costly.
There is an energy saving solution
that ticks all the boxes of reasons
why it should be done and that is
Envirotemp is a unique one-time
energy saving solution designed
to improve the efficiency of your
reverse cycle split or ducted air
conditioning system regardless
of how old or young it is. Better
efficiency means better comfort for
you and lower energy consumption.
And what’s more, the Envirotemp
technician who will install it, which
only takes about 45 minutes, will
prove your system is more efficient
on the spot or the entire job is free.
Envirotemp is not expensive and,
depending on the size of your
system, Envirotemp fully-installed
costs as little as $319 on a split
system and from $549 on a fully
ducted system – refer special pre-
Christmas offer this page.
Because of the reluctance of many
people to allow contractors into their
home, Envirotemp’s association
with Comhouse should help allay
such fears as Comhouse checks the
qualifications and conducts police
checks of all contractors.
